The majority of Graphic Artists do utilize a Mac, and a MacBookPro is a fine choice. Since THEY all use it, it almost forces anyone thinking of going into Graphic Arts to use it - so that fonts, formats and files can be easily passed back and forth. 'Could you' do everything on a PC? Yes, of course. Do you pay more for the glowing Apple? Sure you do. I noticed you entered the contest... Good Luck! So tempting! If I wasn't already busy writing my entries, this post would have convinced me to enter the contest. It's funny you mentioned Apple first - my daughter is in her 2nd year of college in graphic design. She is trying to convince me that absolutely nothing but the MacBookPro could possibly be used by professional graphic designers (like she aspires to be).
