I’ve only got a couple of those items, Jon! I ‘like’ Apple but, truth be told, I probably like Microsoft about as much. This was simply some eye-candy to try to draw some more people into the giveaway.

It seems to be working!

LOL! So tempting! If I wasn’t already busy writing my entries, this post would have convinced me to enter the contest. It’s funny you mentioned Apple first - my daughter is in her 2nd year of college in graphic design. She is trying to convince me that absolutely nothing but the MacBookPro could possibly be used by professional graphic designers (like she aspires to be). I think this is a ploy for a super pricey, albeit very nice, Christmas gift.

I might side with your daughter on this one, Shirah! The majority of Graphic Artists do utilize a Mac, and a MacBookPro is a fine choice. Since THEY all use it, it almost forces anyone thinking of going into Graphic Arts to use it - so that fonts, formats and files can be easily passed back and forth.

‘Could you’ do everything on a PC? Yes, of course. Do you pay more for the glowing Apple? Sure you do.

I noticed you entered the contest… Good Luck! I’d love to find out that that was the extra money you needed to get your daughter’s MacBookPro.

PS: All the pics of Apple products were definitely there to lure more folks… and it worked! ;)
