Work Continues on I Choose Indy!

I Choose Indy! was in the newspaper again this last weekend. Under the fold but still on the cover of the business page. The site is really taking on it’s own personality. Tonight, I had some great news and added sponsors to two of the categories (Legal and Technology). Special thanks to Bose McKinney & Evans Attorneys at Law and Crowe Chizek for their sponsorship!

Tomorrow we’re meeting with a representative from the City of Indianapolis for lunch to get acquainted and to see how we can further assist in the City’s use of the web and technology to push the message that Indy is a fantastic place to live and work. I’m really looking forward to this conversation!

A link that Summae gave me on another post inspired me to make a little logo for I Choose Indy!: It’s subtle, but supposed to represent the Circle in the flag of Indianapolis. I didn’t want to take away from the site at all with some spectacular logo… so this is simply a nice little accent. Here’s a full button… you can go to the About page if you live in Indy and would like to add a link to your site:

We’re running the site as a non-profit, pushing any sponsorship funds back into the site. We’re looking to expand the sponsorship capabilities, author profiles, and possibly add some job boards since that’s why folks may be visiting. If you’re interested in sponsoring the site, please let me know… we’ll put the money to good use.

I Really love the logo, quite simple and clean, but still distinctive, what you did in turning the star into a person is great, adds a human touch to it.

Summae, so true, it’s clean and stands out. I like it. Never seen that site before Doug, looks good. Congrats on getting more sponsors and a newspaper mention :)

Nice logo! A bit high-tech, 3D look. Congrats.
