Judge Halts NSA Snooping

Great news for Americans:

A federal judge in Detroit ruled Thursday morning that the NSA’s “Terrorist Surveillance Program” violates the due process and free speech guarantees of the U.S. Constitution, and ordered an immediate and permanent halt to the Bush administration’s warrantless eavesdropping on domestic telephone and internet communications.

Full Story on Wired… I’m not a fan of the ACLU (though I am a member of the EFF) but this is a great win for free speech, freedom, and privacy.
